Day #5: My Sister's Wedding
...Because it is literally the only motivation to get my fatass to the gym. Let me tell you... Bridesmaid dress shopping is quite an eye opener! Oh, and I guess I am pretty excited for her and Tyler too ;)
Day #4: Fixing of the Cracked Kindle
In one single week, I managed to crack the screen of my Kindle and put my hands in God knows what to tarnish the crap out of my ring my parents gave me for graduation. Then something magical happened... in 24 little hours I took my ring back to James Avery to learn that they can, in fact, polish my ring back to normal and it was for FREE!!! And it gets better! The next morning I was informed that Amazon will replace my Kindle... FOR FREE!!! It has been overnighted and will be happily placed in my mailbox tomorrow :) Seriously, can you believe the luck?! Great, great day.

Day #3: The First Day of Spring
It's official: winter is gone and spring has sprung!! It was the most gorgeous day in Tulsa today, so Elaine and I decided to celebrate by laying out. After like two hours I was beyond bored and convinced I was getting zero sun (it's the middle of March... come on) so that was that. Umm. I am now the color of a maraschino cherry and sweating while shivering in my bed. Nevertheless... so happy that the first day of spring was as great as it was. And seriously praying that this third degree burn turns into a nice bronze overnight ... ?

Day #2: My Very First Tulsa Friend
I don't know where I'd be without my first Tulsa friend, Lisa Grigone. There is very little that isn't funny about our friendship... for starters, I wouldn't say we exactly chose to be roommates in the DG house. It was more of a "Hey Megan and Lisa, neither of you have roommates in the house yet, so why don't you live together?" ... Followed by us briefly glancing at each other and shrugging, mostly because it would be too awkward to say "Um no thanks, I think I'll stay in the dorm..." (Just kidding Wisa :) ) Little did I know she was another St. Louisan who was way cooler than I was / am!!
We've had some greattt times, including you reading me my English assignments while I was snuggled in my bivvy sack, finding you passed out in my bed on a pretty much daily basis when climbing the ladder to yours was too strenuous, and the time you saved me from drowning in the bathtub when I fell asleep after Krissee's party bus. You were the greatest first roommate and first best friend in Tulsa that I could have ever asked for. And I am very excited for drinks and appetizers tonight. Love you my wittle Wisa!!!

Day #1: Villa Love
I decided to do something a little bit different with my blog (if you can consider one single post in 5 months a "blog") and start recognizing one thing every single day that I am grateful for. I hope everyone can appreciate this, seeing as how keeping up with anything is a pretty difficult task for me... so bear with me!
For my first day of gratitude, I am going to start out with a big one... my best Villa friends. I couldn't ask for a stronger support system or more genuine people to call my best friends. I was reminded of this when I took a much needed trip to San Francisco to reunite with three of the many Villa girls I love. In one little weekend I was totally rejuvenated, despite my work-induced sleep deprivation. I couldn't be more grateful for everything that my Villa girls do for me, including making me stick to Lenten resolutions and sneaking me wine when I forgot my ID in my carry-on bag and the waitress is the spawn of satan. For all of this, I thank you guys :)

My VERY first Blog!
Well well well... Here I am writing my very first blog. I apologize for the lack of creativity that has gone into my blog design, but to be quite honest I am still trying to figure out what a "Gadget" is and am just proud I managed to un-do making my whole page in italics. But for the sake of my soon-to-be 3 followers (Maddi, Caitlin and Marge), I will try to make this blogging experience as exciting as possible... Just don't be surprised when this is my only post until 2012.
